Dear Brother Johannians, Eagles & 'Saints' as 2020 draws to a close, this goes out to wish each & every one of you, the "Very Best for the New Year 2021" - May U be safe, healthy, purpose-driven & joyful and, Thanks for tolerating all my spams, topics that we cud agree to disagree about. For those among you who may fondly recall Master Dennis Doss, 84 years young (Cadet Corps, Bandmaster, former LaSalle brother & long-serving Teacher at SJI) - Know that since his discharge from the Rehabilitation Hospital in Cheras in Mid-Aprill, during the Covid MCO - he has been safely ensconced at a Nursing Care Home in PJ, Section 14 - No. 39, Jalan 14/28 (just behind the Right Angle building & opp. the Mosque) and without visitors allowed till of late. Wud be great that those able, cud kindly drop by to visit him that U may be in the vicinity, best between 10am - 12Noon. He loves bananas/fruits and a 'stengah or 2' helps (with the sleep & pain)....and he wud appreciate it, being home-bound ..no more able as church choir-master & singing at funeral masses, tennis or socialising since the stroke. Visiting is distanced and done over the fence (see pics) but gifts cud be passed over to the care-givers for him/them (7 inmates there). Cheer, Cheer & Courage Display!
