EagleLink virtual gathering

*This message goes out to ALL who were Eagle Scouts of St John's Institution KL (EagleLink http://eaglelink.blogspot.com/). Following are steps for , and details relating to, a virtual gathering for your participation. (1) Agenda of the EagleLink virtual gathering with proposed date and time

Date and time of the EagleLink virtual gathering :
Friday Oct 8 2021
Time : 2 to 4 pm, Kuala Lumpur time

(a) 10 minute presentation of pictures from the past (please send your best pictures to me)
(b) 3 minutes each to be allocated for our special guests to speak, proposed to be
Mr Yap Kim Hoong, Mr Tee Kok Bin, Mrs Lim and any other parents who were in Group Council.
(c) Total of 15 minutes to be allocated to those based overseas, to speak about how they are doing
(d) Each member given maximum 3 minutes to speak : your name, name of your patrols as boy scout
, senior scout or girl scout, year when you're in form 5 and (optional), a quick anecdote and your
current profession/business. (This session will need to be constrained within a predetermined
time limit so that the entire virtual gathering is kept within, say, maximum of 2 hours.
(e) 15 minutes to be allocated for a session on how can we as Eagle Scouts effect change in our
beloved Malaysia – for this session, I'm happy to invite Low Huoi Seong to be the facilitator.
(f) 5 minutes allocated to close the virtual gathering by singing the SJI and ESG rallies

(2) Important requirement

Each member must email or whatsapp to me with your name, email ID OR mobile number
by Sep 30 2021, for administrative purposes, for me to send to you the link for the actual virtual
gathering and so that a recording of the virtual gathering could be sent to you, if you wish.
The link that I will send to you for the actual virtual gathering can be used in EITHER of following ways
(a) Keying at the top of your normal internal browser (Chrome/Safari/etc) OR
(b) You could choose to also use Microsoft Teams by downloading Microsoft Teams into your laptop or computer by clicking following link

(3) Testing by all members prior to the EagleLink virtual gathering (optional)

Let me know when you wish to test your connection either through internet browser or using
Microsoft Teams as explained in (2) above and then I will return to you with a link for testing
whether it works
